SnehaShri Charitable Foundation is not-for-profit organization dedicated to the cause of disadvantaged and disabled kids and individuals. Our Vision is to provide best education, health and employment-related training to the hearing/vision/speech impaired and mentally challenged/retarded individuals. Through various development projects, our services will enable disadvantaged and disabled individuals to empower themselves to dignified living and integration in mainstream society.

 

After 50+ years of independence, educational and medical facilities for disadvantaged and disabled individuals in grassroots of India are lacking. Furthermore, employment opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged are very poor or non-existing, making these individuals dependent on their parents or social supporters for the most part of their life. Integration in the mainstream society is very difficult or almost impossible for these individuals. Founders of this trust has unwavering belief that disadvantaged, disabled and underpriviledged individuals have a right to fulfill their ambitions and deserve a respectable and dignified existence in society. Our Mission is to provide education, training and access to information to disadvantaged, disabled and underpriviledged individuals, their families and institutions dedicated to this cause at the grassroots of India. It also includes creating opportunities for these individuals and their families to participate in the mainstream of life to the extent possible and all the choices availabel to normal persons. By encouraging and inspiring the social acceptance and raising self-esteem in these individuals, we aim to completely eliminate or minimize the social stigma from the society.
